Lindsey Horner serves as Head Coach for Drake University's Women's Soccer program in Des Moines, Iowa. Horner was named the Drake women's soccer head coach in 2008 after serving five seasons (2003-07) as assistant coach for the Bulldogs. Horner was named to her position on April 10, 2008, becoming only the second head coach for women's soccer, which began as a varsity sport in 2002.
In her 17 seasons at the helm, Horner owns a 140-128-52 overall record and has amassed a conference record of 61-38-22 with three Missouri Valley Conference regular season titles and three Missouri Valley Conference Championship Game appearances. Under Horner's leadership, she has coached three MVC Defensive Players of the Year, three MVC Players of the Year, three MVC Goalkeepers of the Year, and two MVC Freshmen of the Year. Horner and her staff have been honored three times as the MVC Coaching Staff of the Year and while as an assistant she was also part of three Coaching Staff of the Year selections. Horner was the Bulldogs' top assistant from 2003-07.
