Lindsey Behonick is the head volleyball coach at Oregon State University, taking over the program in December 2022 as the 12th head coach in its history. In her first two seasons, she has guided the Beavers to notable milestones, including producing the program’s first All-Conference First Team selections in decades and securing key wins over ranked opponents. Her teams have shown steady progress, highlighted by breakthrough victories, improved conference competitiveness, and strong academic performance. Behonick has also overseen player development at a high level, helping student-athletes earn professional opportunities while continuing to build a competitive culture within the program.
Prior to Oregon State, Behonick spent a decade as an assistant coach at the University of Pittsburgh, where she was part of one of the most successful eras in program history. During her tenure, Pitt made seven NCAA Tournament appearances, reached multiple Elite Eights, and advanced to back-to-back Final Fours. The program also captured several ACC championships and consistently ranked among the nation’s top teams. A former standout player at Concordia University, where she earned All-America honors and later helped lead the team to a national championship as a coach, Behonick brings both elite playing and coaching experience. Her leadership, recruiting expertise, and commitment to player development continue to shape the trajectory of Oregon State volleyball.
