Lindsay Brown
Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach
Lindsay Brown was appointed as an assistant coach for the UCLA Bruins men’s volleyball program on November 8, 2024, under Head Coach John Hawks. In her first season with the Bruins (2025), she helped coach the team to a third-straight NCAA title match appearance, guided four players to All-America honors, and contributed to a season with over 20 wins — continuing the program’s high level of performance. Prior to arriving at UCLA, Brown spent the 2024 season on the staff at Loyola University Chicago, where the Ramblers posted a 19-10 record and a 12-4 mark in conference play; the team finished the year with the third-highest hitting percentage in the country (.350) while Brown worked with standout Athletes of the Year and All-Americans.
Her earlier coaching experience includes serving as a lead assistant and recruiting coordinator at Princeton University (2023), the University of Purdue Fort Wayne (2018-22) and working at the national level as a coach for the U.S. Boys U19 National Team in 2022 and 2023 (winning gold at the 2022 NORCECA Pan American Cup). As a player, Brown competed at the collegiate level for Sonoma State University as a setter, where she set school assist and service-ace records, earned three All-Conference selections and achieved Academic All-Conference honors four times. This diverse background of playing and coaching at both collegiate and national levels positions her as a key contributor to the ongoing success of the UCLA men’s volleyball program.
