Liam Kahn is the assistant coach for javelin with the Boston College men's track and field/cross country program in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, joining the staff for the 2023-24 season. He arrived from Brown, where he spent the previous year as an assistant throws coach.
Before moving into coaching, Kahn competed in baseball and track and field at Butler, where he finished second in the javelin at the 2019 Big East Championships. He graduated cum laude from Butler in 2020 with a degree in marketing, then earned a master's in management studies from Duke in May 2021. While competing at Duke, he placed third in the javelin at the 2022 ACC Championships and recorded a personal best of 71.33 meters.
