Lexi Wagner was named the softball director of player engagement in September of 2025. Wagner joins the Gamecocks after spending the 2025 season as an assistant coach and working with the offense at Abilene Christian University. She helped the team to a fourth-place finish in the WAC standings and reach the conference tournament for the first time in three years.
