Lexi Funk is the associate head coach for gymnastics at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was elevated to that position in April 2026 after completing her third season on Pitt's staff.
Funk oversaw a strong uneven bars unit in 2026, when Hallie Copperwheat, Jaime Pratt and Camryn Chiu each qualified for the NCAA Championships on the event. Pittsburgh finished the season ranked No. 27 nationally on uneven bars in the Road to Nationals standings, and the team posted a 49.325 in the regular-season finale against West Virginia and Illinois State, the program's fourth-highest score on the event and its best bars mark in three years.
