Lexia Robinson is the assistant coach for throws for St. John's track and field and cross country in Queens, New York, and is entering her fifth season on Aliann Pompey's staff. Before joining St. John's, she coached throwers for nearly six years at Fairleigh Dickinson, Sacred Heart, and Manhattan College, building her experience in collegiate throwing events across the Tri-State area.
In the most recent season described in the source, Robinson coached St. John's throwers to BIG EAST individual championships and All-BIG EAST recognition, and she guided Jamora Alves to All-America honorable mention honors. Alves also extended the program's streak of NCAA Championship meet appearances to 32 straight years and set the Guyana national record in the discus at the 129th Penn Relays in April 2025 with a throw of 54.33 meters, which ranks second in St. John's history. At Sacred Heart, Robinson coached three Northeast Conference athletes of the year across the men's and women's throwing events and led seven conference champions between the indoor and outdoor seasons.
