Lenny Armuth
Head Coach
Lenny Armuth has led the Drew University men’s soccer program since 1994, establishing himself as the most successful coach in program history and one of the premier coaches in NCAA Division III soccer. Under his leadership, the Rangers have captured nine conference titles, including two Landmark Conference championships, and earned nine NCAA Tournament appearances. His 2003 squad advanced to the program’s first NCAA Championship game, finishing as national runner-up, and his 2017 team reached the NCAA Sweet 16 for the third time during his tenure. Armuth’s excellence has been recognized with nine Conference Coach of the Year awards, two NSCAA Regional Coach of the Year honors, ECAC Coach of the Year recognition, and the prestigious NSCAA/Adidas National Coach of the Year award.
Armuth reached his 300th career victory in 2015 and surpassed the 400-win milestone in September 2024, becoming just the seventh active Division III men’s soccer coach to achieve 400 career wins and only the 24th in Division III history to reach the mark. In addition to NCAA success, he has guided Drew to 15 ECAC Tournament appearances and three ECAC championships, including a title in 2018. Prior to Drew, Armuth served as an assistant at Rutgers University and as head coach of the Kean College women’s team. A Maplewood, New Jersey native, he was an All-American at Columbia High School and a captain at the University of South Florida before playing professionally and representing the United States Maccabi teams.
