Lauren Prott serves as an assistant coach for the Portland State University women’s soccer program, earning her promotion in June 2025 after initially joining the staff as a video and data analyst in August 2024. In her role, Prott contributes to player development, scouting, and performance analysis, bringing a modern, data-informed approach to coaching. Prior to Portland State, she gained collegiate coaching experience as an assistant coach at Pacific University during the 2023–24 season, where she further developed her skills in training, match preparation, and athlete mentorship.
Prott’s background includes a diverse blend of domestic and international coaching and playing experience. She has held multiple roles with Westside Metro FC, including coaching and administrative leadership positions, and has also worked at the high school level with Southridge High School. Internationally, Prott has coached and trained within club and academy systems across Australia, Norway, and Sweden. As a player, she competed professionally in several countries, including Australia, Norway, Sweden, the Czech Republic, and Albania, and earned multiple honors in the Women’s Premier Soccer League as a standout defender and team captain. A collegiate player at Milwaukee School of Engineering, Butte College, and the University of Mount Olive, Prott brings a global perspective and well-rounded experience to Portland State’s coaching staff.
