Lauren Gosselin
Associate Head Coach
Lauren (Battista) Gosselin has been a central figure in the rise of Princeton women’s basketball, entering her seventh season with the Tigers in 2025–26 as associate head coach. Since joining the program in 2019, she has helped guide Princeton to sustained Ivy League dominance, including multiple Ivy League championships, Ivy League Tournament titles, and four NCAA Tournament appearances. During her tenure on the staff, the Tigers have posted an exceptional overall record and an elite mark in Ivy League play, while consistently earning national recognition through strong NET rankings, top-tier nonconference scheduling, and postseason success. Gosselin has played a key role in the development of All-Americans, Ivy League Players of the Year, Defensive Players of the Year, and All-Ivy performers, contributing to one of the most accomplished stretches in program history.
Gosselin arrived at Princeton from Tufts University, where she served as an assistant coach under Carla Berube during a 28-win season that culminated in a NESCAC championship and an NCAA Division III Elite Eight appearance. Prior to Tufts, she worked as a graduate assistant at Boston College while earning a master’s degree in leadership and administration, and also gained experience at the NCAA national office supporting women’s basketball championships. As a player, Gosselin was one of the most decorated athletes in Division II history at Bentley University, where she was a three-time All-American, two-year captain, and national champion. She graduated as Bentley’s all-time leading scorer and earned numerous national athletic and academic honors, reflecting the balance of excellence and leadership she brings to Princeton’s coaching staff.
