Lauren Dillon
Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator
Lauren Dillon has been a key contributor to Princeton women’s basketball’s sustained excellence since joining the staff in 2019 and will begin her seventh season with the Tigers in 2025–26 as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. During her tenure, Princeton has emerged as one of the most successful programs in the Ivy League, capturing multiple Ivy League championships and Ivy League Tournament titles while earning repeated NCAA Tournament appearances, including advancing to the second round on multiple occasions. Dillon has been part of a staff that produced a dominant record in Ivy League play and helped position Princeton nationally through strong NET rankings, high-level nonconference scheduling, and postseason success. Her work has supported the development of All-Americans, Ivy League Players of the Year, Defensive Players of the Year, and numerous All-Ivy selections.
Before Princeton, Dillon was at Tufts University, where she transitioned into coaching after completing a decorated playing career. As a player, she was a two-year captain and one of the most accomplished defenders in program history, earning NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year honors and First Team All-League recognition. She graduated as Tufts’ all-time leader in career steals and assists, reflecting her impact on both ends of the floor. Dillon earned her master’s degree in child study and human development from Tufts in 2021, complementing her on-court experience with academic preparation for mentorship and player development. Known for her recruiting acumen, defensive insight, and organizational strengths, Dillon continues to play an important role in maintaining Princeton’s championship culture and national competitiveness.
