Lauren Conroy
Volunteer Assistant Coach
Lauren Conroy is a volunteer assistant softball coach at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), where she contributes to the leadership and development of the Lions’ softball program. A 2022 TCNJ alumna and former standout player for the Lions, Conroy brings recent playing experience and deep familiarity with the program’s culture to her coaching role. During her collegiate career as an infielder, she earned multiple all-conference and all-region honors, including National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) recognition and consistently high performance in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) competition. Her transition from player to coach allows her to mentor current student-athletes, offering firsthand insights on both the competitive and academic aspects of NCAA Division III softball.
Conroy’s presence on the coaching staff supports skill development, strategic preparation, and daily operations that help TCNJ maintain its competitive edge. As a volunteer assistant coach, she works collaboratively with head coach Sally Miller and the rest of the staff to uphold the team’s standards of excellence and to foster a positive, growth-oriented environment. Her experience as a former Lion and her knowledge of the game enhance her effectiveness in guiding student-athletes both on and off the field.
