Lauren Asher is an assistant coach for the George Washington University women's lacrosse program in Washington, District of Columbia, joining the staff ahead of the spring 2026 season. Before arriving at George Washington, she spent three seasons at Gettysburg College, where she worked with the attack, goalkeepers, and draw unit for one of Division III's top programs.
During her time at Gettysburg, the Bullets reached the NCAA Tournament in each of her three seasons, finishing as national runner-up in 2023, advancing to the Sweet Sixteen in 2024, and reaching the Final Four in 2025. The program also remained a regular presence in the national top 10, and the coaching staff was recognized as the 2024 Centennial Conference Coaching Staff of the Year and the 2025 IWLCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year. Asher also spent more than five years coaching with NEMS Lacrosse Club.
