Laura Harper is the head coach of the Towson University women's basketball team in Towson, Maryland, a position she has held since April 20, 2022. The 2025-26 season marks her fourth year leading the program.
Harper quickly produced results at Towson. In her first season, the Tigers finished 21-12, the most wins ever by a first-year head coach in program history and the third-highest total overall for the program. Towson shared the CAA regular-season title for the first time, earned the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, advanced to the CAA championship game, and made another WNIT appearance. In her second season, the Tigers returned to the CAA semifinals, went 11-7 in league play, and gave Harper double-digit conference wins in each of her first two years. She became the first coach in program history to reach that mark in both of her opening seasons. Under her tenure, Towson also saw individual conference recognition, including Kylie Kornegay-Lucas winning CAA Defensive Player of the Year in consecutive seasons and earning first-team all-conference honors, while Patricia Anumgba received second-team recognition.
