Laura Glitz is the head coach of the University of Connecticut women's tennis program in Storrs, Connecticut, and is in her first season leading the Huskies. She arrived at UConn after 18 seasons as Purdue's head coach, where she became the winningest coach in program history with 210 victories.
At Purdue, Glitz directed the Boilermakers to all 10 of the program's national rankings, including a school-record No. 14 finish in 2013. She guided Purdue to the first Big Ten title in program history in 2012 and was recognized as the ITA Coach of the Year at the end of that season. In 2019, she coached Silvia Ambrosio to a No. 9 national singles ranking, the highest in Purdue history. Her teams also posted strong results in the classroom, with 58 Academic All-Big Ten selections and 39 ITA Scholar-Athlete honorees, while 15 players earned All-Big Ten recognition and two were named ITA Most Improved Seniors.
