Laura Gebhart is the head field hockey coach at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, a position she assumed on February 6, 2025.
In her first season leading the Stags, Fairfield produced one of the strongest years in program history. The team set the school record for the longest regular-season winning streak, earned a place in the top 20 of the NFHCA Coaches' Poll, and finished the regular season 16-6 overall with a perfect 9-0 mark in NEC play. Fairfield went on to win the NEC Tournament title and advance to the NCAA Field Hockey Championship. The Stags defeated Boston University 1-0 in the opening round for the program's second NCAA tournament game victory and then closed the season with a 3-1 loss at second-seeded Princeton. Gebhart and her staff were recognized as the NEC Coaching Staff of the Year.
