Laney Jones is the pitching coach for George Mason softball in Fairfax, Virginia, and begins her first season with the Patriots in 2026.
Jones arrived at George Mason after three seasons at Valparaiso, where she served as an assistant coach before taking over as interim head coach for the 2024 season. In her first year with the program in 2023, Valparaiso pitchers recorded three one-hitters or better within a five-day span, including a no-hitter by Caitlin Kowalski at Bradley that marked the 12th in program history.
