Kyrylo Shvets is the associate head coach for George Washington University's men's and women's swimming and diving program in Washington, District of Columbia. He joined GW as an assistant coach in August 2023 and was elevated to associate head coach in May 2025 after the program's first two Atlantic 10 Championship seasons of his tenure.
Across his first two seasons with the Buff and Blue, Shvets helped coach the program to four A-10 team championships and 27 individual conference titles. George Washington also reset 27 swimming records over those two years. In 2024, he was part of the staff that sent a program-record three student-athletes to the NCAA Championships and helped produce the school's third CSCAA All-American, Djurdje Matic.
