UNCW softball head coach Ashley Wade has announced the addition of former Florida State and Ole Miss graduate assistant Kyler Holton to the UNCW program as assistant coach for the 2026 season. Holton, who will oversee the Seahawk pitching staff, spent the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant at FSU, where he helped the Seminoles to 15 shutouts, the lowest ERA (2.20), strikeout to walk ratio (3.43) and most overall wins (49) in the Atlantic Coast Conference en route to the conference regular season championship in 2025 and two NCAA Super Regional appearances. Holton also helped organize and execute booster events to foster program support and community engagement.
