Kourtney Kennedy is an assistant coach for the Providence College field hockey team in Providence, Rhode Island, and enters her fourth season with the program in 2026. Before joining Providence, she served as an assistant coach at Sacred Heart in 2022, where her responsibilities included overseeing the defense, planning practices, recruiting, and supporting daily program operations.
Kennedy previously played at UConn, appearing in 97 career games with 10 goals and seven assists as a defender. She earned NFHCA Mideast Region First Team, All-BIG EAST First Team, and BIG EAST All-Tournament Team honors, and was part of four BIG EAST regular-season titles, four BIG EAST Tournament championships, and four NCAA Tournament appearances. She also contributed to UConn's undefeated 23-0 national championship season in 2017. Kennedy earned a bachelor's degree in sport management in 2021 and a master of science in sport management in 2022.
