Kim Davis serves as Assistant Coach for University of Northern Iowa's Women's Volleyball program in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Former Panther standout Kim Davis completed her 24th year on head coach Bobbi Petersen’s coaching staff in 2025. Coach Petersen hired Davis as an assistant coach in 2002.
In her coaching tenure, Davis has coached the Panthers to 12 MVC regular season titles and 12 MVC tournament titles. Within this same period, the Panthers have made 18 NCAA Volleyball Championship appearances with a 11-17 record. The Panthers have had eight players take home the MVC Player of the Year award since Davis has been on staff. In her time as an assistant coach, 69 Panthers have earned All-Conference recognition, and 19 Panthers have been named to the All-Freshman Team.
