Kimberly Stiles is the head softball coach at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, a position she assumed on July 9, 2024, as the program's seventh head coach. In her first season with the Black Bears in 2025, Maine doubled its win total from the previous year and recorded its first America East series victory since 2021. The season also included conference recognition for several players: Bailey Snowberger and Francesca Guerrera were named to the America East All-Rookie Team, Gabby Papushka earned a place on the America East All-Championship Team, Morgan Pool led the nation by throwing out 25 attempted base stealers, and Madison Simmerman received one America East Pitcher of the Week honor along with three Rookie of the Week awards.
Stiles arrived at Maine with more than 300 career collegiate wins and 14 years of head coaching experience spanning Division I and Division II. Before moving to Orono, she spent three seasons as head coach at Holy Cross. Her teams there posted 50 wins from 2022 through 2024, the program's first three-year 50-win stretch in 25 years. In her first season at Holy Cross, the Crusaders improved their batting average and slugging percentage by more than 45 points and increased their RBI total by more than 60 runs. Under her direction, Holy Cross players earned three NFCA All-Northeast Region selections, four All-Patriot League honors, and four CSC Academic All-District honors, and the 2023 and 2024 seasons produced the second- and fifth-highest single-season hit totals in program history. She also served on the NFCA Division I Head Coaches Committee, the NFCA Division I Top 25 Committee, and the NFCA Ethics Committee.
