Kile Aukerman is an assistant swimming coach and aquatics coordinator for Drexel men's swimming and diving in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He arrived at Drexel after serving as an assistant coach at Miami (Ohio) and previously worked as a graduate assistant coach at Auburn, a volunteer assistant and interim director of operations at Ohio State, and lead age group coach and director of social media at the Triangle Aquatic Center.
Aukerman graduated from Wright State University with a bachelor of science in biological sciences. As a Wright State swimmer, he was a team captain from 2013 to 2015, earned team MVP honors in 2014 and 2015, set six program records, and was named Wright State Athlete of the Year in 2015. He later spent time with the South Florida Aquatic Club and qualified for the U.S. Nationals in the 100 and 200 breaststroke in 2015, adding the 200 IM in 2016. Across his collegiate coaching stops, he has been part of programs that produced 43 NCAA qualifiers, 14 first-team All-Americans, 13 Big Ten champions, and 17 SEC Championship finalists.
