Kevin Dux
Assistant Coach
Kevin Dux is an American collegiate basketball coach currently serving as an assistant men’s basketball coach for Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, a position he assumed prior to the 2024–25 season. In his role with the Tars, Dux brings a wealth of experience in coaching, player development, and recruiting, helping to shape practice planning and contribute to the team’s competitive strategy. Before joining Rollins, he served as the varsity head coach at IMG Academy from 2022 to 2024, where he led one of the nation’s premier basketball programs and saw all nine of his graduating seniors go on to play college basketball.
Prior to his time at IMG Academy, Dux spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Washington University in St. Louis (2018–2022), where the Bears compiled a 58–21 record and made two NCAA Division III Tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 run truncated by the COVID-19 pandemic. He was part of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Coaching Staff of the Year in 2020 as WashU won the UAA championship. Earlier in his career, Dux held coaching and operations roles at Stetson University — including director of basketball operations and assistant coach — and was a graduate assistant at Florida State University, contributing to the Seminoles’ first ACC Tournament Championship and a Sweet 16 NCAA appearance. Dux began his coaching career at Coe College, where he was also a standout four-year basketball letterwinner and Academic All-District honoree. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Coe and a master’s degree in sports management from Florida State.
