Kelsey Usefara, a native Pennsylvanian who has reached the highest levels in her sport as both an athlete and a coach, was named head coach of the Bucknell field hockey program on Feb 22, 2022. In her four seasons, Usefara has won 31 games and earned a bid to the Patriot League Tournament all four years, firmly establishing the program among the conference's finest. The team's record has improved from 5-13 in her first season (2022) to 10-7 (2025) while posting a conference record of 14-10.
