Kelsey Christensen is the head softball coach at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, and entered her second season in that position after being appointed on June 27, 2023. In her first year as head coach, Providence posted a 22-23-1 record and went 11-13 in BIG EAST play.
Before taking over the program, Christensen spent two seasons on the Providence staff as an assistant coach and pitching coach, while also serving as recruiting coordinator. Her responsibilities included practice planning, scheduling, team development strategy, fundraising, alumni relations, community outreach, and other day-to-day program operations.
