Kelly Layton has served as an assistant coach for the University of Pittsburgh women's lacrosse program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, since September 2024. She arrived at Pitt after two seasons at St. Bonaventure, where she worked closely with the goalkeepers and was part of a staff that helped the program reach its first Atlantic 10 Tournament since 2007 and earn its first conference win since 2017.
Earlier, Layton spent one season as an assistant coach at George Washington, where the team made its first Atlantic 10 Tournament in 13 years. She has also coached at the Potomac School and with Next Level Lacrosse Club. A former four-year player at Millersville, Layton has represented the Israeli Women's National Team, starting all eight games at the 2022 World Lacrosse World Championships and competing in The World Games that year. She holds undergraduate and master's degrees from Millersville and is from Ashton, Maryland.
