Kaylyn Angelle
Student Assistant Coach
Kaylyn Angelle serves as an Assistant Acrobatics & Tumbling Coach with the Morgan State University Bears athletic department, supporting the development of the Bears’ acrobatics and tumbling program as part of the coaching staff under Head Coach Agina Simpkins. The program itself is relatively new, reflecting Morgan State’s expansion into emerging NCAA women’s sports, and Angelle plays a role helping student-athletes grow their technical skills, conditioning, and competitive readiness.
Prior to her current coaching role, Angelle was a valued student-athlete for Morgan State’s acrobatics and tumbling squad after transferring from Emmanuel College in Georgia, where she brought experience as a competitive gymnast and cheerleader — skills that contribute to her understanding of the sport and her ability to teach athletes across multiple event categories. Originally from Beaumont, Texas, she excelled athletically in gymnastics and cheer and has contributed to the Bears’ program both on and off the mat, blending her firsthand competitive experience with her coaching responsibilities.
