Kat Stratton serves as Assistant Soccer Coach for Mississippi State University's Soccer program in Starkville, Mississippi. Kat Stratton joined the Bulldog soccer program on Feb. 18, 2020, as a volunteer assistant coach working with State’s goalkeepers. Stratton's role also sees her very involved in State's defensive organization and she plays a key role in MSU's set piece planning.
She was elevated to a full-time assistant coach prior to the 2023 season. Since 2021 MSU has held opponents to fewer than 10.0 shots per game in every season.
