Katie Reifert is the head coach of the George Washington University volleyball program in Washington, District of Columbia, a position she has held since 2022 as the 10th coach in program history. A former GW standout, she has guided the Colonials to two Atlantic 10 Tournament appearances in her first three seasons and has coached four players to all-conference honors.
Reifert returned to George Washington after serving as head men's volleyball coach at Lawrence Tech, where she was tasked with rebuilding the program and added 13 newcomers to the roster in a six-month span. Before that, she was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Brown from 2018 to 2020. Brown posted 13 wins and its first winning season since 2001 in 2019, while the program's RPI improved significantly and three players earned all-conference recognition. In her three seasons with the Bears, she was involved in the recruitment of 14 student-athletes, including a group that produced multiple all-league honorees and a player of the year, and Brown's 2020 incoming class was ranked among PrepVolleyball.com's top 30 nationally.
