Katie Crowley is the Jane Rattigan Head Women's Hockey Coach at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and entered her 18th season in that position in 2024-25. She first joined Boston College as an assistant coach in 2003 before taking over as head coach ahead of the 2007-08 season.
Since becoming head coach, Crowley has built Boston College into one of the top programs in women's college hockey. Her teams have reached 11 NCAA Tournaments, including six Frozen Four appearances in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017. Boston College also won five straight Hockey East regular-season titles from 2013-14 through 2017-18, captured conference tournament championships in 2011, 2016, and 2017, and claimed six Beanpot titles between 2009 and 2018. The program has finished among the top four teams in the Hockey East standings every season since 2010, a distinction the source notes no other Hockey East men's or women's program has matched over that span.
