Kasey Tapman Asper is the associate head coach for field hockey at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, a position she has held since 2025 after joining the staff as an assistant coach in June 2021. She completed her fifth season back on the Maryland staff in 2025 and previously served as the Terrapins' volunteer assistant coach in 2018 and 2019, with responsibilities that included film breakdown, work with the defensive penalty corner unit, and support for team travel and camps.
A Maryland alumna, Tapman Asper played for the Terrapins from 2011 to 2015 and was a member of the program's 2011 NCAA championship team. She appeared in 77 games, served as a team captain as a senior, and was part of three championship teams during her college career, including the 2011 national title, the 2013 ACC championship, and the 2015 Big Ten championship.
