Kali Boatwright
Assistant Coach
Kali Boatwright returned to her alma mater for the 2024 season as an assistant coach for the Eckerd College volleyball programs, bringing Division I coaching experience and deep familiarity with the Triton culture. Entering the 2025 season, she is in her fifth overall year on the sidelines at Eckerd. In her current role, Boatwright works with both the indoor and beach volleyball teams, contributing to player development, training, and match preparation. Her earlier stint at Eckerd included helping guide the indoor team to a 19–12 record in 2019, when the program set a single-season team record for aces and produced All-SSC and All-Region honorees. She was also recognized nationally in April 2021 as a member of the inaugural AVCA Thirty Under 30 Beach Award class, highlighting her impact as a young coach in the sport.
Prior to rejoining Eckerd, Boatwright spent three seasons coaching at the Division I level. In 2023, she served as an assistant coach at Gardner-Webb University and was named interim head coach during the spring semester, helping lead the Bulldogs to the most Big South Conference wins and their first Big South Tournament Semifinals appearance in program history, while coaching multiple All-Conference selections. Before Gardner-Webb, she was an assistant coach at Louisiana at Lafayette, where the program achieved the highest hitting percentage in school history. As a student-athlete, Boatwright was a standout at both Augusta University and Eckerd College, totaling 985 career kills and more than 1,300 digs, earning multiple conference honors, and competing in NCAA Tournament play. A native of Lakeland, Florida, she brings a strong blend of competitive experience, coaching expertise, and institutional knowledge to the Eckerd volleyball staff.
