Kaelyn Long is the assistant field hockey coach at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Appointed in March 2025, she entered her second season with the Stags after Fairfield earned an NCAA Tournament berth, won the NEC championship, and finished 16-6 in 2025. She was also part of the staff recognized as the NEC Coaching Staff of the Year following that season.
Before joining Fairfield, Long was a volunteer assistant coach at Quinnipiac University, where she worked with the Bobcats in Big East competition. She previously served on the Harvard University field hockey staff in 2022 and 2023. Harvard went 29-8 overall and 13-1 in Ivy League play across those two seasons, and the Crimson coaching staff received NFHCA Northeast Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2023 after reaching the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals. Long also coached with CT Elite Field Hockey Club beginning in May 2024.
