Justin Lupone is an assistant coach for George Washington University's men's and women's track and field/cross country program in Washington, D.C. He joined the staff full time in November 2024 after serving as a volunteer coach from 2022 to 2024 while completing a master's degree in exercise and physiology with a concentration in strength and conditioning at GW.
Lupone oversees daily operations and designs workouts for the sprint, hurdle, and jump groups. In his first year as a full-time coach, the women's sprint group scored at the Atlantic 10 Championships in the 4x400, 4x100, and 400 meters for the first time in program history, and athletes under his direction set multiple program and personal records. Before arriving at GW, he coached football, track, and strength and conditioning in Massachusetts from 2018 to 2022.
