Justin DiPoto
Senior Associate Athletic Director, Business Operations
Justin DiPoto is a senior athletics administrator at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, serving as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations. A member of Rutgers Athletics since July 2015, DiPoto is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Business Office and plays a central role in managing the department’s financial infrastructure. His responsibilities include close collaboration with University Procurement Services, University Finance and Controller offices, and University Treasury to ensure sound fiscal management and compliance with university and NCAA standards. He also works closely with athletics leadership to compile financial forecasts and long-term projections that support strategic planning across the department.
In addition to his business operations portfolio, DiPoto prepares and oversees the department’s annual NCAA and Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) reports, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance. He also serves as the sport administrator for the women’s golf program, providing administrative oversight and support. Prior to joining Rutgers Athletics, DiPoto worked at S&P Global Market Intelligence in New York City, where he began as a product consultant and later advanced to a role on the East Coast sales team as a client development associate. A native of North Brunswick, New Jersey, DiPoto earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Rutgers Business School in 2013 and completed his MBA at Rutgers in 2019, further strengthening his expertise in financial management within collegiate athletics.
