Julie Brzezinski is the head softball coach at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, and will begin her 30th season leading the program in 2027. In 29 seasons at Fairfield, she has guided the Stags to 24 appearances in the MAAC Softball Tournament, 16 winning seasons, and six 30-win campaigns. Her teams won MAAC Tournament championships in 2015 and 2017, producing Fairfield's only two NCAA tournament berths. She was named MAAC Coach of the Year in 2004 and 2012 and shared the award in 2002.
The 2017 Fairfield team won four consecutive games in the conference tournament to claim the title and advanced to the Baton Rouge Regional, where the Stags played LSU and McNeese State. In 2015, Fairfield reached the Tuscaloosa Regional and faced Alabama and USC Upstate. Through 29 seasons at Fairfield, Brzezinski compiled a 742-716-5 record, and her overall record across 37 seasons as a head coach stands at 987-911-6.
