Julia Batson is an assistant coach for the Boston College women's rowing program in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and is entering her second season on the staff. Before joining Boston College, she coached with the Saratoga Rowing Association/ARION program in Saratoga Springs, New York, where she oversaw daily training and regatta organization for high school and collegiate athletes. She also coached at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center in Vermont and Bainbridge Island Rowing in Washington.
Batson graduated cum laude from Smith College in 2023 with a degree in religion and a minor in exercise and sports studies. A two-time All-American, she also won four Royal Canadian Henley Regatta titles and competed at the Head of the Charles, U.S. U-23, Speed Orders, and Olympic trials.
