Jules Montinar is the defensive backs coach for the Boston College football program in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and he begins that position in the 2026 season.
Montinar arrived at Boston College after one year as cornerbacks coach at Oklahoma State. Before that, he spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons at East Carolina as defensive pass game coordinator and cornerbacks coach. East Carolina's 2024 defense ranked among the national leaders in several categories, including defensive touchdowns, tackles for loss, red zone defense, turnovers gained, and interceptions. One of the players he coached there, cornerback Shavon Revel, earned all-conference recognition and was later chosen by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
