Joy McCorvey was named the 11th women's basketball head coach in program history on April 15, 2024. She enters her third season at the helm of the Stony Brook women's basketball program in 2026-27. In the 2025-26 season, McCorvey guided Stony Brook to an 18-15 overall record (12-6 CAA), marking the most victories during her tenure.
