Josh Willman is the head coach of the University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving program in Durham, New Hampshire, and 2024-25 marks his 32nd season leading the Wildcats. He joined the UNH staff as an assistant coach in 1991 and took over the program the following season. Early in his tenure, he earned Men's Coach of the Year honors in 1992-93. Before entering the college ranks, Willman began coaching soon after graduating from Miami, working at the YMCA and USA Swimming levels. He is a certified ASCA Level IV coach and has received the ASCA Coaching Excellence Award.
Under Willman, New Hampshire has been one of the most successful programs in its conference. The Wildcats have won 12 America East championships, in 1998, 1999, 2005, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025, the most by any program in conference history, and they also captured ECAC team titles in 2003 and 2011. Willman has been named America East Coach of the Year a league-record 17 times and ECAC Coach of the Year four times.
