Josh Beauregard
Head Baseball Coach
Josh Beauregard is the 12th head coach in the history of the Eckerd College baseball program, having taken over the reins in August 2016 and entering his 10th season as of 2026. A 2003 graduate of Eckerd College, Beauregard has deep roots in the Triton athletic tradition, both as a standout player and as a coach. After a successful playing career with the Triton baseball team — where he hit .396 with 80 hits and 35 stolen bases his senior year and ranks among the program’s all-time leaders in multiple offensive categories — he spent several seasons in minor league and independent professional baseball before returning to his alma mater.
Before transitioning to baseball, Beauregard built a winning legacy in Eckerd softball, serving as assistant coach from 2005–2008 and head coach from 2008–2016. His softball teams set multiple program records and he became the school’s all-time wins leader in that sport. Since moving to baseball, he has guided the Tritons through milestone achievements including a Sunshine State Conference Championship, an NCAA South Regional appearance, and multiple individual player honors. Known for emphasizing both athletic and academic success, his teams have featured All-American performers and conference award winners. Off the field, Beauregard holds a degree in Business Management and Athletic Administration from Eckerd College and is a native of Keene, New Hampshire.
