Joseph Kirk
Assistant Coach
Joseph Kirk enters his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Ramapo College women’s basketball program, bringing a strong background in high school coaching and player development. Prior to joining the Roadrunners, Kirk served as the head girls’ basketball coach at Pequannock High School, where he led the team to a nine-win season. Before that, he revitalized the Parsippany High School girls’ program, guiding the team to its winningest season in five years and securing its first NJSIAA State Championship Tournament berth in four years after inheriting a squad that had won just two games the previous season.
Earlier in his coaching career, Kirk worked as an assistant coach at Ridge High School in Bernards Township, contributing to a 17-win season and a state tournament appearance. In addition to his scholastic coaching roles, he has served since 2013 as Assistant Camp Director for the Ridge Summer Shootout Basketball Camp, focusing on teaching fundamental skills to young athletes. A 2011 graduate of Rutgers University–New Brunswick, Kirk is also a middle school music teacher in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. He resides in Oakland, New Jersey.
