Jordan Stevens is the head football coach at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, and enters his fifth season leading the Black Bears in 2026 after being named the program's 37th head coach on Dec. 7, 2021.
Stevens earned his first win as Maine's head coach on Oct. 8, 2023, when the Black Bears defeated Hampton 31-24 on the road. In his first season in charge, he coached four All-CAA selections: offensive lineman Michael Gerace and linebacker Adrian Otero on the second team, along with tight end Shawn Bowman and fullback Zavier Scott on the third team. In 2025, Maine fielded one of the stronger defenses in the CAA, finishing fourth in the league in scoring defense and leading the conference in opponent yards per game at 325.1. The Black Bears also ranked among the CAA leaders in touchdowns allowed, sacks, and forced fumbles, and Stevens coached three all-conference defensive players in Christian Thomas, Devin Vaught, and Elias Sherman.
