Jonneshia Pineda is the associate head coach for the University of Louisville women's basketball program in Louisville, Kentucky. She was promoted to associate head coach in April 2026 after serving as an associate coach beginning in 2022 and as an assistant coach when she joined the Cardinals in 2019.
Since arriving at Louisville, Pineda has been part of one of the program's most successful stretches. Across her first seven seasons on staff, the Cardinals posted a 185-54 record, won two ACC regular-season championships, reached three Elite Eights, advanced to four Sweet 16s, and made the 2022 Final Four. In 2025-26, Louisville finished 29-8 and placed second in the ACC at 15-3, then advanced to the ACC Championship game. The Cardinals averaged 78.7 points per game that season, the best mark of Pineda's Louisville tenure and one of the top figures in school history, while ranking second nationally in bench scoring. Imari Berry was named ACC Sixth Player of the Year, Tajianna Roberts earned first-team All-ACC honors, and Louisville recorded the second-highest assist total in program history.
