Jonathan Wolff
Associate Head Coach
Jonathan Wolff joined the University of South Florida men’s tennis program prior to the 2022–23 season and was promoted to associate head coach in June 2024. He brought to Tampa a strong track record of leadership and player development after spending eight seasons at Georgia State University, including five as the Panthers’ head coach. Wolff capped his tenure at Georgia State with a standout 2022 campaign, earning Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year honors after guiding the Panthers to both the regular-season and conference tournament championships. Over five seasons as head coach, he compiled a 68–45 record and led the program to the Sun Belt Tournament championship match each year, while coaching 14 players to All-Sun Belt recognition.
At USF, Wolff has played an instrumental role in the continued development of the Bulls’ top performers. He was a key figure in the progression of Alvin Tudorica, a two-time All-Conference selection who enjoyed a breakout senior season in 2023–24. Tudorica advanced to the ITA National Fall Championships, earned All-AAC honors in both singles and doubles, qualified for the NCAA Championships as an at-large selection, and was named the AAC Men’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Wolff’s coaching background is rooted in elite collegiate tennis, having competed for Wake Forest from 2007–11, where he served as team captain and earned ACC All-Academic honors. He holds a master’s degree in sports administration from the University of Miami and is known for his analytical approach, player-centered coaching style, and experience leading programs to conference and postseason success.
