Jonas Brobeck is the head coach of the University of Rhode Island women's tennis team in Kingston, Rhode Island, a position he assumed in August 2023. He entered his second season leading the Rams in 2024-25 after a successful first year in which Rhode Island finished 14-7, doubled its win total from the previous season and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Championship. Sophie Herrman earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors, while Nadia Rajan was a second-team selection, and both were named to the A-10 Academic All-Conference Team.
Before arriving at Rhode Island, Brobeck was head coach at Northwestern State beginning in August 2020. He led the program to the 2022 Southland Conference championship and an undefeated league record, earning conference Coach of the Year honors. That title was Northwestern State's first in the league since 2014. His 2021 recruiting class was ranked ninth among mid-major programs by tennisrecruiting.net, and the team posted grade-point averages of 3.87 in 2021 and 3.72 in 2022.
