John Odierna is the head men's lacrosse coach at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, having been appointed to the position on June 9, 2026.
He arrived at Fairfield after three seasons at Syracuse as defensive coordinator, where he worked with head coach Gary Gait and helped the Orange compile a 38-18 record. Syracuse reached the NCAA quarterfinals in 2024 and advanced to the Final Four in both 2025 and 2026, while also winning the 2025 ACC Tournament title. In 2026, two of his defensemen, Billy Dwan III and Riley Figueiras, earned USILA All-America recognition.
