John O'Connor is the head coach of women's golf at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, and enters the 2026-27 season in his 18th year leading the program. He has directed Quinnipiac women's golf since the team's inception after previously coaching the school's men's golf team for three seasons.
Under O'Connor, the Bobcats have won seven Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships, including titles in 2016 and 2017, three straight from 2021 through 2023, and again in 2025 and 2026. Since Quinnipiac joined the MAAC in 2013-14, no women's golf program in the conference has claimed more titles. He has also earned five MAAC Coach of the Year awards, including honors in 2025 and 2026.
