Johnny Raj is the associate head men's soccer coach and recruiting coordinator at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. He returned to the Stags program as an assistant coach for the 2024 season and moved into the associate head coach position after previously spending six seasons on Fairfield's staff from 2017 through 2022.
Before coming back to Fairfield, Raj was the head coach at Mount Saint Vincent in 2023, leading the Dolphins to an 8-5-4 record and a 6-2-3 mark in conference play. The team closed the regular season with an eight-match unbeaten run, reached the Skyline Conference championship game, and finished the year ranked 10th nationally in goals-against average at 0.87 per match. Earlier in his coaching career, he also spent two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Bridgeport under Brian Quinn and Peter Doneit.
